One berry.
Four chapters.
Every bar of our chocolate starts long before the cocoa — in a haskap orchard at Eagle Hill Farm. This is how a single berry becomes juice, syrup, and finally the chocolate you're holding.
01
It all begins with
a deep-purple berry.
The vibrant haskap — a tiny fruit bursting with flavour and nutrition, grown in the cold prairie air of northern Alberta. When the harvest arrives, the journey begins.
02
First, we press.
The berries are pressed to create a beautiful, crystal-clear juice — rich in antioxidants and as refreshing as a summer morning. But our story doesn’t end there.
03
Then, the pulp
becomes syrup.
The pressed pulp, still brimming with taste and goodness, is gently blended with sugar to become a luscious, tangy-sweet syrup — perfect for drizzling, mixing, or savouring by the spoonful.
04
And nothing
is left behind.
We don’t waste a single seed or skin. The remaining sugared pulp is carefully dehydrated, locking in its flavour and texture, before finding its final home in our decadent chocolate bars. Each bite carries the essence of the berry’s journey — from orchard to juice, syrup, and chocolate.
